O município de Santo Afonso realizou na última semana a "Campanha Municipal de Controle do Diabetes", visando promover a melhor saúde da região, oferecendo um atendimento excelente para os munícipes.

Testes de glicemia capilar e hemoglobina glicada, são exames importantes para a manutenção de medidas farmacológicas e não farmacológicas perante o diabetes, e foram realizados gratuitamente nos Santo-Afonseses.

Durante a campanha foram atendidas mais de 100 pessoas diabéticas cadastradas, sendo populares que residem na área urbana e rural, como a Gleba União, São João e Pecuama.

O movimento atingiu o resultado esperado, e levou a mensagem correta, de que a nossa saúde é o bem mais precioso, e precisamos sempre nos cuidar.
